This weekend I had the pleasure of dining under the stars on the historic Trestle Bridge in Downtown Winters. This unique event featured a delicious menu, courtesy of local favorite, Buckhorn Steakhouse – always a crowd-pleaser (and one of the best steaks I’ve had in my life).
Throughout our region, and the state, rural communities often lack access to the healthcare services they need. That’s why this event was so important.
Proceeds went to support the development of a new 28,000 sq. ft. building for Winters Healthcare in Esparto. This hub for health and social services will allow the people on the western side of Yolo County to access vital services in their community.
Thank you to everyone who came together to break bread and help ensure that the west side of Yolo County has access to these critical healthcare services!
I’m also excited to share a sneak peek of the new facility in Esparto!
