We look forward to working with Christopher and his team, along with the other Solano County Democratic clubs that endorsed him, toward Christopher’s eventual victory in November 2024.”

“As President of the Northern Solano Democratic Club, I want to join my fellow club members in congratulating Christopher Cabaldon for receiving our endorsement. We have had numerous opportunities to learn about him as a candidate and his record of public service. Christopher has joined our club’s virtual meetings to talk about the issues that are important to those of us living in SD 3: gun violence, challenges to our LGBTQ students both in school and in our communities, supporting our teachers and public education, environmental issues/climate change, affordable and available housing, the challenges raised by the looming Flannery land acquisitions, and many other areas of concern. Christopher did more than present his views and vision to the club. He welcomed our questions and answered them thoughtfully while demonstrating command of the issues. Not only did we have him join us for our formal meetings; Christopher made it a point to come to many of our in-person events to spend time learning more about US. His desire to make those connections was noticed and appreciated.
We listened, asked questions, and discussed the candidates and their vision for SD3. After careful consideration, the NSDC overwhelmingly voted to endorse Christopher Cabaldon as their preferred candidate. We are confident that he will be a great addition to California’s State Senate and will represent us with skill, compassion and a great “Can Do” attitude.”
Jeanie White, President, Northern Solano Democratic Club
“In an election with three Democratic candidates running, Christopher Cabaldon’s lifelong commitment to excellence in public service and his depth of policy knowledge stand head and shoulders above the competition. His substantive answers to difficult questions on a wide range of pressing issues earned him the unanimous support of the Woodland Democratic Club’s membership. On the issues of housing, homelessness, health care, climate change, and LGBTQ rights–Christopher will be our champion in Sacramento. We urge our fellow Democrats to vote for him in the March 2024 primary election.”
Jake Whitaker, President, Woodland Democratic Club
“I’m supporting Christopher Cabaldon because he is a doer. He has fantastic experience and that will serve him well at the state level. Christopher doesn’t just have good policies; he actively works to implement them. The work he has done on housing, homelessness, education, and the environment are innovative and could be applied statewide. He is a fierce advocate for the Delta. Christopher has my endorsement and the endorsement of the Progressive Democrats of Benicia.”
Kathy Kerridge, Chair Progressive Democrats of Benicia
“I am endorsing Christopher Cabaldon for California State Senate District 3.
The endorsement of Cabaldon comes because he has been instrumental in shedding light on the Flannery Group. A group that has purchased over 60,000 plus acres of land in Solano County, including in and around Rio Vista. Cabaldon’s ability to act, with not just a nod, acknowledgement, or a I’ll get back to you…but rather with a get-it-done action that has yielded results such as:
Meeting with Rio Vista Ranchers, Farmers & Residents to understand their predicament and concerns.
Presenting to the State Senate Agricultural Committee on the geography of the land, impact on environment, water access and status of the area under scrutiny.
Informational contributions that were included in articles that helped to elevate these Land Purchases to public notice.
Rio Vista not only benefits from Cabaldon’s endeavors, but so does Solano County, extending out to the district as a whole. I believe Cabaldon will bring that same energy, directly to the constituents of District 3 as exhibited by his transformation of West Sacramento.”
Karen Rogers, Chair, Rio Vista Democratic Club
“Representation matters, and in Christopher Cabaldon we have a leader who not only understands Democratic values but someone who has ceaselessly advocated for them. Christopher’s commitment to equality, anti-discrimination, environmental sustainability, economic justice, and uplifting our diverse communities is unparalleled, making him an essential voice for progressive change in our State Senate. As the Acting President of the Sacramento Stonewall Democrats, we are proud to endorse Christopher for State Senate.”
Dee Olivarez, Acting President, Sacramento Stonewall Democrats
“The West Sacramento Democrats have overwhelmingly endorsed our former mayor, Christopher Cabaldon, for State Senate. We join with a multitude of Democratic clubs across the region in endorsing him and recognizing his long service in government at all levels and his history as an innovator and change-maker. Christopher will bring his unparalleled work ethic and creativity to continue to tackle issues that matter–from housing, to transportation, to homelessness, to gun violence prevention, to climate change, to equality and inclusion for all, to protecting reproductive rights, and to ensuring that everyone has access to the California Dream. If elected, Christopher would be the first West Sacramentan to serve in the Legislature, bringing our mighty little cities’ fighting spirit to the state.”
